Assistant Manager / Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Responsibility:

Responsible for the analysis of financial results

Provide accurate financial and budget

Provide information to improve business performance

Preparation of budgets and forecasts

Analyze the actual performance against budget, forecast, previous month and year

Analyze key balance sheet and cash flow against budget, forecasts, the previous month and the year before

Assist in data analysis for the preparation of statutory accounts and file the annual tax

Prepare and submit to the demands of government statistics

Help cover and forex exposure of the forecast

Maintains vendor master, customer master chart of accounts and corporate

Present the results and analysis of monthly management review

Reconciliation of results from COPA GL

Other ad hoc finance projects / missions

Requirements:

At least 5 years experience in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 4 years in financial planning, preferably in a large global company
Good knowledge of accounting (local, U.S. GAAP and IFRS) and their understanding in the financial statements (balance sheet, P & L and cash flow)
Strong knowledge of financial analysis with the ability to develop complex financial models
Technical expertise and financial IT systems, including the use of Excel and SAP
CPA, a degree in finance or accounting or ACCA is necessary
Practical experience with SAP required
Office location will be at Changi South.
